The Company is in need of a Senior Counsel to join their legal department and support the North America Commercial Contracts team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the review, drafting, and negotiation of a variety of commercial agreements, including master agreements, amendments, and statements of work. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to partner with internal stakeholders to advise on contractual rights, obligations, and risks. The Senior Counsel will also be involved in preparing and managing contracts independently, ensuring compliance with company risk profiles, and providing training on legal and contractual topics to enhance the understanding and efficiency of sales teams and other departments.
Applicants for the Senior Counsel position at the company should have a J.D. degree and be a member in good standing with a state bar. A minimum of 7 years' experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts is essential, with a focus on technology transactions and experience working with sales organizations.
