About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Tax Digital Transformation and Innovation Product Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the product lifecycle of proprietary technology solutions that support the tax practice and client service delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of both tax and technology product development, with a proven track record in launching and managing products that enhance professional services. The Managing Director will define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the tax practice's needs. They will also oversee the product portfolio, market analysis, and competitive positioning, and ensure that the products meet the agreed-upon outcomes and support the business strategy.
Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's or J.D. preferred) in a relevant field, with at least 12 years' experience in tax and/or technology product management. A strong background in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation is preferred, as is experience in process design and improvement. The role demands a leader with strong management and mentoring skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. The Managing Director will also be involved in stakeholder management, deployment, adoption, and implementation, and must be adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines. Professional certifications such as CPA, JD, EA, PMP, or a Certified Product Manager are also preferred.
