About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Information Security to take on a pivotal role in the development of next-generation settlement infrastructure for financial markets. The successful candidate will be the first dedicated security hire, responsible for the end-to-end security program, including the design, implementation, and scaling of systems to protect the company's infrastructure, clients, and reputation. This senior, hands-on security leader will be tasked with designing and deploying security architecture, leading compliance efforts and audits, representing the company in institutional security conversations, and defining long-term security strategy and risk management frameworks.
Applicants for the Head of Information Security position at the company should have 5-10+ years of hands-on experience in security engineering, cloud security, or infrastructure security, with a strong background in SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks. The role requires a candidate who is comfortable in client-facing conversations with enterprise or regulated institutions, knowledgeable in crypto-native risk, key management, and on-chain systems, and able to balance engineering velocity with security controls. The ideal candidate will be a structured, strategic thinker capable of implementing hands-on solutions, with a low-ego, high-ownership attitude, and a proven ability to thrive in fast-moving environments.
