About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Accountant/Accounts Payable Manager to lead the day-to-day payment operations and related accounting activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payments, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting financial reporting and cash flow needs. This role also involves continuous process improvements, working closely with internal partners to enhance workflows, and maintaining fiscal accountability.
Key responsibilities for the Chief Accountant/Accounts Payable Manager include managing core A/P operations, vendor payments, and expense processing, as well as ensuring adherence to accounting policies, controls, and reporting requirements. The role also involves supporting month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and assisting with cash flow monitoring and general financial analysis. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, a strong background in A/P operations and team leadership, solid analytical skills, and experience with financial systems and reporting tools. The Chief Accountant/Accounts Payable Manager will also be expected to provide direction and support to A/P staff, assist with audits, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
