About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Sales for Wealth Management and FinTech. This role is pivotal in establishing and scaling the go-to-market strategy in two of the financial services' fastest-growing sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team, defining the sales approach, and driving revenue growth. This is a hands-on position that requires a proven sales leader to recruit, coach, and develop a team, as well as to engage directly with key prospects and customers. The VP of Sales will also be instrumental in driving market penetration, ensuring that the sales motions are aligned with partnership strategies, and enabling cross-functional excellence by serving as a key member of the Revenue Leadership Team.
Candidates for the VP of Sales role should have a minimum of 6 years of sales management experience, with at least 3 years leading sales teams in B2B SaaS or financial services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the wealth management and FinTech ecosystem, including business models, pain points, and buying behaviors. Familiarity with risk management, vendor management, cyber security, or compliance solutions is a strong plus. The role requires a leader with exceptional coaching, mentoring, and inspiring abilities, a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, and a core competency in hunger, humility, and self-awareness. The VP of Sales will be expected to have superb communication skills, an analytical mindset, and a bias toward data-driven decision-making.
