About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Advancement to lead its fundraising and marketing strategy. This mission-critical role involves driving revenue growth and innovation across various funding sources, with a focus on individual giving. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of national fundraising strategies, particularly for the company's expanding footprint. As a key member of the executive team, the VP will also lead a talented staff, manage a portfolio of major gift prospects, and ensure brand visibility that supports the company's philanthropic goals.

Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive nonprofit fundraising experience, with a proven track record in securing major gifts, and at least 5 years' in a senior leadership role with direct revenue responsibility. The role requires a strategic, entrepreneurial leader with exceptional relationship-building and brand storytelling skills. Experience in marketing, communications, or brand strategy is essential, and a background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, or technology-focused nonprofits is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the company's mission to address hunger, food waste, and environmental sustainability, and will be adept at creating measurable impact through their work.
