About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Financial Operations to lead and transform its global finance operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading high-performing global teams, and ensuring a seamless financial experience for clients. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in scaling operations, strengthening financial controls, and leading distributed teams in fast-paced environments. Key responsibilities include providing strategic leadership and oversight for a large global team, driving standardized and efficient processes across all finance operations activities, and enhancing both internal processes and the client-facing e-invoicing platform. The VP will also be instrumental in fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, as well as partnering with various teams to ensure financial governance and support strategic client onboarding.
Applicants for the Vice President of Financial Operations position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a CPA or MBA. A minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in finance operations, controllership, or global shared services is required, along with a strong understanding of invoicing, financial reconciliations, internal controls, and cross-border financial workflows. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, experience in ERP systems, and advanced Excel/data analysis skills. Preferred qualifications include a background in accounts payable, billing, reconciliations, or corporate accounting, and expertise in driving automation, process transformation, or digital finance operations.
