About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Gateway System of Care, a comprehensive homelessness response system. The successful candidate will provide strategic, operational, and administrative leadership to ensure a coordinated, data-informed, and compassionate continuum of services that promote the stability and long-term success of individuals and families experiencing homelessness. This role involves overseeing multiple service providers, maintaining service alignment and performance standards, and representing the system at the highest levels with various stakeholders. Key responsibilities include creating and enforcing policies that promote the health, safety, and dignity of all residents, as well as interacting with the community and elected officials to address the needs of the unhoused population.
Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's or Doctorate strongly preferred, and senior or executive-level management experience in relevant areas. The role requires a comprehensive knowledge of homelessness response systems, trauma-informed care, and best practices for serving vulnerable populations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supervising multidisciplinary teams, administrative experience in policy development and program evaluation, and the ability to use data to inform operational decisions. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
