About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Behavioral Health to play a pivotal role in the strategic development and operational management of a comprehensive range of mental health services. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing the overall direction, goals, and objectives of behavioral health services in partnership with the Chief of Psychiatry. This includes shaping the company's perspective on behavioral health advocacy and reform, as well as collaborating with senior leadership to evaluate and expand clinical programs. The role demands a leader with a strong background in financial and administrative management, particularly in the behavioral health sector, and a commitment to providing culturally sensitive care and training. The Vice President will also be instrumental in leading multidisciplinary strategic projects, ensuring quality improvement, and achieving productivity and patient experience goals.

Candidates for the Vice President position must have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least 10 years' of experience in financial and administrative management, with a focus on behavioral health. Clinical expertise is also preferred. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in managing personnel and fiscal resources, as well as the ability to guide and mentor a multi-layered staff. Essential skills include program development, implementation, and evaluation, as well as the capacity for long-range planning and complex decision-making. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator, highly organized, and a dedicated team player with the ability to anticipate and respond to challenges. Professionalism, proficiency in standard healthcare office software, and the ability to work effectively in stressful situations are also key attributes for this role.
