About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team. This pivotal role demands a seasoned leader with a minimum of 15 years' experience in senior financial management, particularly within a complex, capital-intensive public organization. The CFO will be responsible for defining and stewarding the company's financial strategy, shaping capital allocation, and long-term funding commitments in alignment with public accountability. This includes overseeing all finance functions, such as financial planning and analysis, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, audit, risk management, and enterprise analytics. The successful candidate will also have a proven track record in leading financial strategy and capital planning, as well as experience with large-scale transformation initiatives and a strong ability to engage with external stakeholders.

Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a preference for an MBA or equivalent advanced degree. The role requires a leader with the ability to operate at the enterprise level, partner with executive leadership, and govern bodies to inform strategy and long-term planning. The CFO will also be expected to provide executive oversight of the information technology function, ensuring that technology investments enhance operational performance and long-term capability. A key aspect of the role is to establish and maintain an enterprise-wide risk management framework and to integrate financial leadership, technology, data, and analytics to strengthen decision-making and enterprise performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in capital stewardship, digital modernization, and public accountability, and will be a trusted advisor with the judgment and influence necessary to lead during a period of transformation.
