About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the definition and execution of its technology vision and strategy. The CTO will be a key member of the Senior Executive Leadership Team, responsible for driving innovation and scale within the organization and the industry. This role demands a progressive technology leader with a strong client and product mindset, deep experience in software engineering or technology leadership, and a proven track record of scaling B2B platforms in a high-growth, Agile environment. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of emerging technologies, particularly in the areas of AI and ML, and will champion modern Agile methodologies to ensure rapid iteration and learning. Team and culture leadership are also critical, with a focus on building and mentoring high-performing, inclusive teams that are aligned with the company's mission and impact.

Candidates for the CTO position at the company should have at least 20 years' of experience in the field, with a preference for those who have worked in clean energy, solar, storage, or IoT environments. The role requires a leader who is an innovative and curious learner, experienced in Agile practices, and a strong communicator capable of fostering a culture of ownership and inclusion. The CTO will be expected to collaborate with product management, ensure the effectiveness of software delivery, and maintain a strong focus on data integrity and security.
