About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Business Valuation and Intangible Assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering complex valuation engagements, from the initial proposal to project completion. This role involves active management of business valuation assignments, staff supervision, and participation in business development activities. The Managing Director will also be involved in appraisal reviews and is expected to have a strong background in business valuation and intangible assets, with a focus on financial reporting valuation.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's in Business Administration preferred, and at least 10 years' of business valuation experience, particularly with a national role at a small to mid-size firm. Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, AM, ASA, or other valuation industry credentials are also preferred. The role requires superior communication, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage a team, meet project deadlines, and build strong client relationships. The Managing Director will be the primary contact on engagements, and the position may involve intermittent travel both within the US and internationally.
