The Regional Executive Director - Southern California will be responsible for providing strategic, operational, and administrative leadership for a network of facilities across Southern California, as well as driving high-quality service delivery, operational excellence, and sustainable growth. You will oversee day-to-day regional operations, implement and refine processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies, and lead business development initiatives that expand the footprint and impact of the region. You’ll build and nurture strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, monitor performance metrics to achieve financial and service goals, and serve as a trusted liaison between regional leaders and senior executive management. You will also champion a positive, mission-driven culture that elevates team performance and supports continuous improvement.
Applicants should have substantial leadership experience, ideally within healthcare management, behavioral health, or a related services environment. You should also have a proven record of overseeing multi-site operations and driving strategic initiatives. A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field is typically required; advanced degrees (such as an MBA or MHA) are highly advantageous. Strong business acumen, financial management skills, and a deep understanding of compliance and quality standards are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams, and comfort working in a dynamic, growth-oriented setting are also critical for success in this role.
