About the Role
The Opportunity: Build With Us from Day One
This isn't just another finance and operations role. This is a rare opportunity to join a pre-seed, AI-native fintech company as a pivotal member of the founding team. As the Head of Finance & Operations, you will be the architect of our business's entire operational and financial backbone. You won't be managing existing processes; you will be creating them from the ground up. Working directly alongside the CEO, you will be the strategic partner who transforms our vision into a scalable, compliant, and financially sound enterprise.
What You'll Do:
As our first dedicated business leader, you will have ownership across three core domains: Finance: Architect our financial model for strategic planning and fundraising; play a key role in future fundraising rounds (Seed, Series A); implement all accounting, payroll, and expense systems from scratch; and manage the company's financial health, runway, and budget. Operations: Build the operational playbook for scale; oversee legal and compliance in partnership with counsel; and establish our initial People Operations functions, including payroll and benefits. Strategy: Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and founding team on business model decisions, pricing strategies, and long-term corporate planning.
Who You Are:
You are a proven operator with 5-8+ years of experience in a high-performance environment like startup finance, venture capital, or investment banking. You are an expert at financial modeling and thrive in unstructured environments where you can build from zero. You are a strategic thinker, an exceptional communicator, and are genuinely passionate about our mission to improve global financial wellness.
