The Company is in search of an Executive Director for its newly established Institute for Nutrition Science and Health. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader, responsible for shaping the institute's groundbreaking approach to integrating sound nutrition and lifestyle medicine into education, research, and community outreach. This role is pivotal in redefining how these disciplines are taught, studied, and practiced, with a focus on preparing future healthcare providers to understand the impact of food and lifestyle on disease prevention and treatment. The Executive Director will also be tasked with advancing discoveries in the field, enhancing patient care through personalized, evidence-based approaches, and engaging communities to promote behavior change, improve food access, and health equity.
Applicants for the Executive Director position must be nationally recognized experts in nutrition science and lifestyle medicine, with a strong background in community service and engagement. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative bridge-builder, an outstanding listener, and a seasoned communicator, with a proven track record in donor engagement and management. Academic credentials should include an M.D., M.D./PhD, Ph.D., or an equivalent medical degree, and board certification in a relevant specialty, where applicable. The role requires a leader who can inspire collaboration across healthcare, academic, and community partners, and who is committed to the mission of the institute in advancing the future of medicine.
