About the Role
The Company is in search of a Dean for its College of Professional Studies. The ideal candidate will be an innovative and collaborative leader with a strong background in both scholarly and administrative skills. The Dean will be responsible for leading a diverse faculty across various applied disciplines, from management to nursing, and must be a champion of both undergraduate and graduate education. This role involves working with the campus community to uphold a learning environment that values transformative education for a diverse student body, as well as leading the development of a compelling vision for high-quality public education in applied fields.
Key responsibilities for the Dean include leading and supporting the faculty in the development and expansion of graduate programs, serving as the lead accreditation officer for all accredited programs in the College, and maintaining a quality assurance system for continuous program improvements. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide active leadership in the College's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to promote an environment that advances inclusive excellence while actively opposing discrimination and intolerance. The Dean will have supervisory responsibilities, manage a significant budget, and provide leadership to a large faculty, including both full-time and part-time members.
