About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Global Commercial Development Disease Area Lead to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of building and driving global oncology marketing capabilities, with a focus on disease area strategy, launch strategy, and portfolio differentiation. This role requires a passionate leader with a proven track record in developing and executing global marketing strategies, particularly in the context of new product launches in competitive spaces. The VP will be responsible for partnering across the organization to ensure global readiness for successful commercialization, leading a team to design and execute global brand strategies, and translating scientific and market insights into compelling marketing plans. An entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate across the organization are essential.

Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) and at least 15 years of progressive commercial experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with a background in strategic marketing and ideally sales. The role demands a leader with excellent organizational skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, and a strong focus on delivering results. Experience in oncology marketing, particularly with a focus on gastrointestinal or lung cancers, is preferred. The VP will also be expected to bring innovation to global marketing, integrating digital, omnichannel, and data-driven approaches, and to serve as a trusted resource to executive leadership in maximizing commercial value and expanding indications. A significant portion of the role involves travel, and the candidate should be prepared for up to 50% travel as required.
