About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead the development of its next-generation Layer 2 infrastructure, with a focus on creating a seamless and entirely on-chain consumer finance experience. The CTO will be responsible for leading the blockchain engineering team, defining the long-term technical vision, and driving innovation across the Layer 2 protocol. This pivotal role requires a technically exceptional leader with deep blockchain expertise, including consensus systems, smart contract infrastructure, and virtual machine technology. The successful candidate will also be tasked with building and managing a high-performing technical team, evaluating and integrating emerging technologies, and ensuring the platform's scalability, security, and performance.
Candidates for the CTO position at the company should have a Master’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, with at least 10 years' experience in blockchain, distributed systems, or related tech, and a minimum of 5 years in technical leadership roles. A deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, strong EVM experience, and familiarity with stacks like Cosmos SDK or Substrate are essential. The role demands an individual with a demonstrated ability to lead, scale, and mentor engineering teams, excellent communication skills, and a strong awareness of blockchain trends. Fluency in English and Mandarin is also a requirement. Bonus points will be awarded for leadership or core contributions to major blockchain projects, publications in relevant fields, and experience with cross-chain tech, ZK proofs, Layer 2 scaling, or similar innovations.
