About the Role
The Company is in need of a VP Loan Operations Officer to oversee and manage all aspects of loan processing, including the preparation of loan documentation, lending files, collateral maintenance, records, reports, and loan compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for interacting with lending officers, credit department employees, and clients, as well as resolving problems, managing staff, and ensuring the efficient operation of the loan operations department. This role requires a deep knowledge of both commercial and consumer loans, complex real estate transactions, and Small Business Administration (SBA) products, as well as strong operational management skills.
Key responsibilities for the VP Loan Operations Officer include managing and staffing the loan operations team, training and coaching staff for efficiency and accuracy, and streamlining processes to ensure compliance and excellent customer service. The role also involves preparing and processing SBA loans, reviewing loan applications for SBA loan sales eligibility, and maintaining loan document programs to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lending compliance regulations, be adept at problem resolution, and have the ability to identify and recommend process improvements. Additionally, the role requires the preparation of monthly loan reports, participation in internal and external audits, and the completion of special projects as assigned by management.
