About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Finance and Operations Officer (CFO) with a strategic and systems-oriented approach to enhance the organization's financial health and internal operations. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, providing oversight in finance, accounting, talent operations, technology, and general operations. This role is pivotal in supporting the organization in expanding its financial operations knowledge and skill, as well as directing the development of new systems, policies, and procedures to drive impact. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader, embracing change, and bringing a strategic mindset to evolving business needs. They will also be responsible for championing change management, fostering innovation, and ensuring inclusive and equitable team management.

Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have at least 15 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years leading the finance function in a complex organization. A strong background in financial operations, particularly within the philanthropic space, is highly preferred. The role requires exceptional strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to inclusive leadership. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and other leaders to develop and implement financial strategies, oversee the annual budget process, and optimize financial and analytics platforms. Additionally, the CFO will be involved in operations leadership, including facilities and logistics management, vendor relations, and technology strategy. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, capable of identifying and implementing solutions that drive the organization forward.
