About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to spearhead the commercial team and drive the company's ambitious growth in the carbon removal sector. The CCO will be responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end commercial strategy, with a focus on revenue growth, buyer engagement, and market expansion. This senior leadership role demands a candidate with a proven track record in driving revenue, ideally in the context of the low-carbon economy, and a deep passion for addressing climate change. The successful candidate will be tasked with building and deepening relationships with major corporate buyers and partners, leading the commercial funnel from pipeline development to deal close, and overseeing the structuring and negotiation of complex agreements. Additionally, the CCO will be instrumental in shaping the company's market presence, leading marketing and communications efforts, and building a high-performing commercial organization.
Applicants for the CCO position at the company should have 12-18+ years of commercial leadership experience, with a strong background in enterprise sales, partnerships, revenue leadership, and/or marketing. The role requires a candidate with strong executive presence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing, ambiguous environment.
