About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive leadership team. The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the organization, with a focus on strengthening financial performance, ensuring long-term sustainability, and aligning financial strategy with the company's mission and member-centric approach. This includes overseeing a wide range of financial functions such as finance, accounting, ALM, budgeting, treasury, investments, and financial risk management. The ideal candidate will be a mission-minded financial leader with a proven track record in guiding financial strategy, particularly within a bank or credit union environment. A strong background in ALM, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and executive-level collaboration is essential, and a bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a master's degree, CPA, CFA, or related certifications.

The successful CFO at the company will be a forward-thinking, strategic executive who is passionate about the cooperative movement and the financial well-being of the community they serve. Collaboration is key in this role, as the CFO will work closely with leaders across the organization to ensure that financial discipline and innovation go hand in hand. The role demands a candidate with an innovative and visionary mindset, who can blend big-picture strategy with financial rigor, and who is dedicated to keeping the members at the center of every strategic choice. If you are a financial leader who is excited by the prospect of a challenging, mission-driven role and is ready to make a significant impact, this opportunity is for you.
