The Company is in search of a Head of Coaching and Player Transition for its Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight and leadership of the development of youth players, ensuring a clear pathway for high-potential players and managing their transition plans. This role involves working closely with the technical director to align the Academy curriculum with that of the first team, including tactical and technical approaches, educational requirements, and the overall development of players. The Head of Coaching and Player Transition will also be involved in all aspects of Academy management, from staff development to contributing to the club's game model and will be the primary contact for coaches in the areas of session planning and professional development.
Applicants must hold a USSF A License or equivalent and have at least 8 years of progressive leadership experience at the Academy, collegiate, or professional level. The role requires excellent organizational, communication, and team management skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions with integrity. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to the development of both players and staff, and be committed to maintaining the values and standards of the club. The position demands a high level of flexibility, including the ability to work non-traditional hours, and the ability to travel as necessary.
