About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief of Staff to play a pivotal role in the organization's growth and operational excellence. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and leadership team, acting as a strategic partner to drive the company's mission forward. This high-impact position demands a dynamic and strategic individual with a strong background in deep-tech environments, particularly those related to defense, space, hardware, or robotics. The Chief of Staff will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to, acting as an extension of the CEO, leading special projects, supporting business development activities, and contributing to investor relations. The role requires a mission-driven operator with a proven track record of engaging with government customers and a deep understanding of government contracting processes.

Key qualifications for the Chief of Staff role at the company include 5-8+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree a plus), and a strong alignment with the company's mission and values. The ideal candidate will be a strong operator with a bias to action, capable of independently scoping and solving complex problems, and producing high-quality, executive-ready outputs. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is the ability to translate technical and regulatory topics into clear, actionable materials. The role also requires a process builder with experience in implementing OKRs/KPIs and cross-functional operating rhythms, and a high level of emotional intelligence for effective stakeholder management. The Chief of Staff will be expected to be mission-aligned with the company's focus on remote power applications and national programs, rather than purely climate-first motivations.
