The Company is seeking a VP/SVP Reinsurance Actuary to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in providing actuarial profitability studies, reinsurance pricing, and dynamic portfolio optimization support for clients and prospects. The focus will be on Programs and MGAs across various commercial and personal lines of business. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5-10 years' in a related field, and hold an ACAS or FCAS designation. Experience in primary insurance pricing and reinsurance pricing is preferred, as is a local or willing to relocate to the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area.
Key responsibilities for the VP/SVP Reinsurance Actuary include performing actuarial analysis to develop loss models, estimating reinsurance pricing, and determining optimal reinsurance structures. The role also involves leading and managing the actuarial team, presenting analyses, and providing value-added services to clients. The candidate should be adept at problem-solving, applying advanced mathematical and actuarial concepts, and have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
