The Hardware Engineer Temp will have a minimum of 3+ years of electronic circuits and systems design, integration and testing experience. Knowledge of RF systems or motor drives and controls is desirable. Experience with the use of test equipment, such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, DMMs, and signal generators. Knowledge of project engineering methods and troubleshooting techniques for electronic circuitry. Knowledge of test report and procedure generation.
Familiar with one or more of the following: OrCAD, MATLAB, LabView, and/or VHDL.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Must have training with one or more of the following:
- Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
- Analog Circuit Design
- Digital Electronics Design
- Algorithm Development (Pattern Recognition and Object Tracking)
- LabView Automated Test Stand Design
- Strong oral/written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Work independently and with interdepartmental teams.
- Assist in the design and development of electronic systems.
- Write or assist in the development of test plans and test procedures.
- Assist in the automation of relevant test procedures and/or design and development of test fixtures.
- Assist in lab and field tests of electronic systems.
- Familiarity with AS9100 is desirable.
- US Citizenship only.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
- B.S.E.E. degree from an accredited university or equivalent; and 3+ years related experience and/or training.
- Master’s in Electrical Engineering or MBA is considered a plus. Experience and training in the Military/Aerospace Industry is desirable.
- Professional and/or technical certifications from accredited educational and vocational institutions desired.
Computer Skills
- Personal Computer literate.
- Microsoft Office required.
- Knowledge of MATLAB, LabVIEW, and Schematic Capture (i.e. ORCAD or equivalent) is required.

Physical / Mental Demands
- Position involves sitting, standing and/or walking. Ability to frequently exert up to 10 pounds of force to move/lift objects and occasionally up to 20 pounds.
- Requires use of hands to handle or control tools; reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to stand, stoop, kneel, reach, or walk.
- Requires clear hearing and speaking.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
