Job Overview

BH Doors and Hardware is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial door and hardware projects from contract award through completion. In this key role, you’ll take ownership of each project from the moment it’s handed off by estimating—managing everything from submittals and procurement to shipping schedules and jobsite communication. Your ability to organize, coordinate, and problem-solve will be critical in ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for projects after contract award from estimating
• Prepare, submit, and track accurate submittals for doors, frames, and hardware
• Create and review shop drawings based on project specifications
• Purchase materials according to approved submittals
• Ensure proper detailing and coordination of doors and hardware
• Manage all phases of the project from kickoff through final delivery
• Schedule and oversee shipping and delivery logistics
• Maintain clear communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Resolve field issues promptly and professionally
• Maintain thorough project documentation and records

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the door and hardware industry
• Deep knowledge of doors, frames, hardware, and construction detailing
• Proficient with submittals, shop drawings, and procurement workflows
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong ability to multitask and manage timelines under pressure
• $115,000 annual salary
