The Opportunity

We are hiring a Head Chef to lead the kitchen for an established, high-volume concept within a growing Philadelphia hospitality group. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on consistency, team development, and evolving an existing menu - not starting from scratch and not putting out fires every night.

This role is ideal for a chef who values structure, collaboration, and creative input without chaos, micromanagement, or constant turnover.

What You'll Do
  • Lead daily BOH operations in a high-volume, scratch kitchen
  • Manage ordering, inventory, and food cost controls
  • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and ServSafe standards
  • Train, schedule, and motivate a BOH team of 5-10
  • Ensure recipe accuracy, portioning, and plate presentation
  • Foster a calm, organized, respectful kitchen culture
What You Bring
  • BOH leadership experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager
  • Strong scratch-kitchen and execution skills
  • Experience with inventory management and vendor communication
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long shifts
  • Food safety certification preferred
  • Steady, consistent leadership style under pressure
