Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant Production Supervisor at Park Elementary for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year and beyond.
The Nutrition Services Assistant Production Supervisor assists the Production Supervisor with the best plan to carry out the kitchen's school nutrition program under the direction of the Child Nutrition Director.
The salary range for this position is $23.00 per hour - $27.00 per hour. Salary is dependent upon education and experience.

Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant Production Supervisor at Park Elementary for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year and beyond.
The Nutrition Services Assistant Production Supervisor assists the Production Supervisor with the best plan to carry out the kitchen's school nutrition program under the direction of the Child Nutrition Director.
The salary range for this position is $23.00 per hour - $27.00 per hour. Salary is dependent upon education and experience.
Schedule/Hours:
- 192 days per year
- Monday - Friday, 8 hours per day
- Weekly & monthly ordering and receiving products from various vendors with regard to menu plans and catering.
- Inventory management
- Production record management
- Sanitation management
- Ensure compliance with the School Nutrition Program Guidelines
- Market School Nutrition Programs through various promotions to increase participation
- Monitor equipment and kitchen supplies for repair or replacement
- Oversee Cook Lead and kitchen staff
- Assist with hiring and the evaluation of food service staff job performance
- 1-2 years experience in a managerial role in school food service or any other institution serving masses of participants is required
- Food Manager's License is required
- Strong computer skills, including thorough knowledge of Google and experience working with menu planning systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Customer service skills are essential for contributing to the success of the School Nutrition programming
