Locum Radiologist Position in Sioux City, IA
Join the team at MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center! We are actively seeking a Locum Radiologist to support our dedicated healthcare staff. Located in the vibrant community of Sioux City, this facility offers comprehensive radiological services including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, mammograms, and ultrasounds. The practice environment is equipped with medical imaging capabilities and a strong nursing support ratio, ensuring quality care for our patients.
Job Responsibilities:- Analyzing medical images to diagnose and monitor diseases.
- Interpreting test results accurately.
- Communicating findings to other healthcare professionals.
- Performing interventional procedures using imaging guidance.
- Collaborating with a healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
- Choosing and implementing appropriate imaging techniques.
- Reviewing and interpreting X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, mammograms, and ultrasounds.
- Recommending testing to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Board Certified in Radiology - REQUIRED
- Active Iowa License or Active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) - REQUIRED
- Fellowship Trained in General Radiology with Mammography and Fluoroscopy - REQUIRED
- Board Certification is mandatory.
- Must possess an active Iowa medical license or an active IMLC license.
- Fellowship training in relevant specialties is a must.
