Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist is sought to support students across multiple grade levels, from Kindergarten through grade 12, in a dynamic school setting located in Brockton, MA. This role focuses on fostering student well-being, providing assessment and intervention services, and collaborating with educators and families to address the diverse needs of students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs. Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to support academic, social, and emotional development. Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to create supportive learning environments. Provide crisis intervention and assist in behavior management strategies. Participate in individual education program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert recommendations. Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with applicable laws and policies. Desired Qualifications: Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field. Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in the state of Massachusetts. Experience working with students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy. Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities. Location: Based in Brockton, Massachusetts.
