Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist opportunity is available within an elementary school setting in Bridgeport, TX, offering a contract position through the current school year ending June 5, 2026. This role is fully onsite, providing essential psychological services to a diverse student population across all grade levels. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments evenly distributed with the current school psychologist. Provide direct counseling to students, managing a caseload of approximately 65 students through both direct and consultative services. Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized support plans. Maintain detailed records and reports, with some flexibility for planned remote report writing upon prior approval. Desired Qualifications: Valid credentials and licensure as a school psychologist. Experience working with a range of grade levels and diverse student needs. Strong assessment and counseling skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a school environment and communicate effectively with educators, parents, and students. Commitment to providing onsite support with limited remote work options.
