Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a Special Education Teacher for grades K-5 and 9-12 to support diverse learners in a school environment located in Boulder, CO. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with students requiring individualized instructional strategies across elementary and high school levels. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that accommodate individual student needs. Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to optimize learning environments. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans. Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement. Qualifications: Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working with students in grades K-5 and/or 9-12. Ability to design adaptive instructional methods. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to fostering student growth and development.
