Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist is sought to support students in grades K-12 within a dynamic educational environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic and emotional well-being across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Located in Converse, TX, the role focuses on providing psychological services that enhance student success and foster a positive school climate. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to identify student learning and behavioral needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed Support the development of behavioral intervention plans and strategies to improve student outcomes Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights to support student learning and mental health Desired Qualifications: Licensed or certified school psychologist with experience working in K-12 school settings Familiarity with psychological assessment tools and techniques appropriate for grades K through 12 Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices Location: Converse, Texas This role provides an opportunity to work within a supportive school environment where psychological expertise directly benefits student growth and development.
