A contract position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within K-12 schools located in the Winter Garden, FL area. This role supports a dynamic educational setting and offers a valuable opportunity to work with diverse student populations requiring speech and language interventions throughout the school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy services to students ages Kindergarten through 12th grade. Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals. Maintain accurate clinical documentation compliant with school and state regulations. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise in speech-language pathology. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Masters Degree in Speech-Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or a related field. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA. Valid Florida State License to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist. Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Work Details: Contract duration covering the current school year (CSY), from ASAP through late May. Full-time and part-time positions available, including coverage for maternity leave between January and May. On-site presence required in Winter Garden, FL, with potential hybrid work arrangements. Typical caseload assigned includes between one and three schools depending on full- or part-time status.
