Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for an experienced special education teacher to work with students across various grade levels, including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. The position is based in Fond Du Lac, WI, and involves supporting students in a school setting under a contract arrangement. The role requires a commitment of over 30 hours per week, five days per week, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specially designed instruction tailored to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Maintain accurate documentation of student performance and compliance with educational standards. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and growth. Qualifications: Valid Special Education Teacher License. Experience working with diverse student populations across grades K-12 preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
