Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree, active Physical Therapy Assistant license, and 1+ years Physical Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Eustis, FL, this full-time Physical Therapist Assistant position supports K-12 students within multiple school locations across Lake County Public Schools. This contract role lasts through the current school year, ending on May 29, 2026, and offers an engaging opportunity to work with approximately 40 active students in an itinerant capacity. Key Responsibilities: Deliver therapeutic interventions to school-aged children (K-12) across multiple campuses. Manage a caseload of students requiring physical therapy services. Coordinate with educators and school staff to support student progress. Document therapeutic services and maintain compliance with school district guidelines. Qualifications: Current Professional Physical Therapist Assistant licensure. Prior experience working in a school-based setting is required. Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week), including 8 hours per day with a 30-minute unpaid break. Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites as needed. Strong communication and organizational skills. Additional Information: Role start date is ASAP, with contract ending May 29, 2026. Position is on-site in Eustis, FL. Responsible for servicing 40 students through individual and group consultations. This role requires professional licensure and school-based work experience.
