A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to serve K-12 students in the Metairie, LA area. This contract position runs from ASAP through May 22, 2026, providing essential psychological services within the school system to support student well-being and academic success. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychological assessments, collaborating with educators and families, and developing intervention strategies tailored to individual student needs. The role requires adherence to school policies and effective communication across multidisciplinary teams to promote a positive learning environment. Qualifications and Experience: Active Louisiana Department of Education certification for School Psychologist (required) Experience working with school-age children across K-12 settings Strong skills in psychological evaluation, data interpretation, and intervention planning Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to manage caseload effectively within a school calendar schedule Work Schedule and Location: Full-time commitment, 35 hours per week (7 hours daily plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch) Monday through Friday, aligned with the school calendar Exact caseload and number of schools assigned to be determined Based in the greater New Orleans, LA area (Metairie) This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in students educational journeys while working in a structured and supportive environment.
