Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-semester opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support high school students in a focused classroom setting. This contract position involves working with an ID1 classroom consisting of 12 students and one teacher assistant, providing a collaborative and supportive learning environment. Location: Spartanburg, SC Setting: High School Duration: Full semester, full-time for the remainder of the school year Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of students with disabilities Collaborate with the teacher assistant to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment Communicate regularly with parents and staff to support student success Qualifications and Experience: Must hold a valid South Carolina Special Education teaching certification Experience teaching high school students with special education needs preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work effectively within a team setting This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys in a structured, supportive setting.
