Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Experienced retail pharmacists are needed for a dynamic per diem position supporting multiple pharmacy locations in the Fresno area. This role offers the opportunity to join a float team providing coverage across well-managed pharmacies with strong support from experienced pharmacy technicians. Candidates will manage medium to high volume prescriptions in a fast-paced retail environment using Rx30 software. Key Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in retail pharmacy settings Handle medium to high prescription volumes with professionalism and care Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other team members to ensure smooth operations Provide excellent customer service and patient counseling as needed Support multiple pharmacy locations within a 30-40 minute commute radius around Fresno Adapt to a floating schedule covering various community pharmacies Qualifications: Minimum of 6 months retail pharmacy experience required Familiarity with Rx30 pharmacy software preferred Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Spanish language skills are strongly preferred but not mandatory, as technician teams speak Spanish Must be willing and able to commute daily to various nearby towns including Parlier, Reedley, Sanger, Selma, Kerman, Orange Cove, and Madera. Mileage reimbursement available for select farther locations (Huron, Earlimart, Mendota) Valid California pharmacist license required Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional half-day shifts on Saturday (9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) Approximately 20+ shifts per month, offering near full-time hours This per diem opportunity provides a competitive wage with mileage reimbursement available for select locations.
