Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support students at a middle school in the Denver area. This role is ideal for an SLP with experience or interest in school-based therapy, providing direct services to a diverse caseload of middle school students. The position runs from early January through late May and offers a flexible schedule totaling 20-25 hours per week. Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy to students aged roughly 11-14 years. Manage a caseload ranging from 25 to 45 students, adapting therapy plans to individual needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state licensure requirements. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment. Qualifications: Active Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license. Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification for school-based providers. Experience working with middle school students preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply. Commitment to providing on-site services; virtual or hybrid arrangements are not available. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students and school personnel.
