Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A tribal hospital in Arizona is seeking a full-time Travel Pharmacist to support its Outpatient Clinic. This is a unique opportunity to practice meaningful pharmacy work in a mission-driven healthcare setting while gaining valuable IHS-style experience. Responsibilities
Review, verify, and dispense outpatient prescriptions
Provide medication counseling and patient education
Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to support safe medication use
Support pharmacy operations in a clinic-based setting
Maintain compliance with applicable federal and facility regulations
Requirements
Active Pharmacist license in any U.S. state (AZ license not required due to tribal facility)
Minimum 1 year of hospital experience or completion of a residency
Willingness to work in a remote tribal clinic environment
Strong communication skills and positive, adaptable attitude
Schedule & Systems
Typically four 10-hour shifts (8:00am6:00pm) EMR: RPMS (IHS system, similar to VistA)
