Seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher licensed to support students across multiple grade levels including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. This contract position, based in Fairport, NY, offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys in a supportive school environment. Responsibilities: Deliver tailored special education instruction aligned with students Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to create inclusive learning strategies. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs. Maintain classroom management and foster a positive, supportive atmosphere. Participate in team meetings, professional development, and continuing education as needed. Qualifications: Valid Special Education Teacher License. Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, or 9-12 preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt lessons and materials for students with varying abilities.
