Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support speech and language therapy services as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in an elementary school setting in Live Oak, CA. This full-time contract position runs through June 5, 2026, providing coverage for multiple schools within the district, including Spring Valley, Bangor Elementary, and Berry Creek Elementary Schools. The role is itinerant, requiring travel between sites to serve approximately 35 general education inclusion students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language support to students in general education settings Manage an active caseload of about 35 students Utilize SEIS and actively participate in IEP processes and documentation Travel between assigned schools to provide consistent therapy services Qualifications and Experience: Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license is required Experience working with elementary-aged students in school settings Familiarity with special education procedures, including SEIS and IEP implementation Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Strong organizational and communication skills to support caseload management and documentation Location: Live Oak, California, with travel among multiple elementary school sites within the district Benefits: Opportunity to provide impactful support to students in inclusive school environments Full-time hours (37.5 per week) with a defined contract term If you hold a valid California SLPA license and are interested in providing specialized support in a dynamic school environment, apply today to contribute to student success across multiple elementary school locations.
