Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available to support students across various grade levels, including K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. This contract role is located in Florence, MA, and offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic educational environment dedicated to fostering student success and well-being. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students needs. Develop intervention strategies to support individual and group learning. Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to promote positive behavioral and mental health. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student support plans. Provide counseling services and crisis intervention when necessary. Monitor progress and adjust interventions as needed. Desired Qualifications: Valid licensure or certification as a school psychologist. Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Strong assessment and diagnostic skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of special education laws and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
