Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing bilingual speech-language pathology services in a virtual school setting, this role focuses on delivering teletherapy and telespeech support to K-12 students. The position requires proficiency in Spanish to effectively serve the linguistic needs of students within the Virginia Beach area. Services will predominantly include conducting two to three evaluations per week on an as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities: Deliver teletherapy and telespeech interventions tailored to individual student needs across the K-12 spectrum. Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations in Spanish. Collaborate remotely with educators, families, and support staff to implement treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all sessions and evaluations. Adhere to state licensure regulations and uphold professional standards in telepractice. Qualifications: Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Virginia is mandatory. Fluency in Spanish is essential for effective communication and service delivery. Experience in teletherapy or telespeech services preferred. Ability to manage a part-time, as-needed workload with flexibility. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to support virtual service provision. Location: Virtual assignment serving students in the Virginia Beach area. Position Details: Part-time engagement on a contract basis. Focus on delivering two to three speech-language evaluations weekly. Service dates from January 5 through June 16.
