Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for an experienced Educational Diagnostician to support K-12 students in New Orleans, LA. This contract position runs from ASAP through May 22, 2026, providing valuable assessment and evaluation services that influence student educational plans and support services. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to identify students' learning strengths and needs Interpret assessment data and prepare detailed reports with recommended accommodations and interventions Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Maintain compliance with Louisiana DOE certification requirements and district policies Manage caseload efficiently and maintain accurate documentation following the school calendar, Monday through Friday Qualifications: Active Louisiana DOE Certification as an Educational Diagnostician required Proven experience conducting K-12 educational assessments and evaluations Strong communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration with educational teams Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning in the field of educational diagnostics Location & Hours: Position located in New Orleans, LA serving one or more schools (caseload to be determined) Full-time, 35 hours per week; 7 hours daily plus 30-minute unpaid lunch; Monday through Friday aligned to school calendar If you possess the credentials and passion to make a difference in students' academic success through targeted evaluations, please apply promptly.
