Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide tailored instructional support across multiple grade levels, including elementary, middle, and high school. This contractual role focuses on delivering individualized education plans (IEPs) and fostering an inclusive learning environment that supports students with diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized educational programs for students with special needs Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor and support student progress Adapt curriculum and instructional techniques to accommodate varying abilities and learning styles Maintain accurate records of student development and prepare progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions Promote a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to student growth Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience teaching students at elementary, middle, and/or high school levels Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and assessment strategies Ability to create differentiated lesson plans and manage classroom behavior effectively Excellent communication and collaboration skills Location: Hooksett, NH This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students academic and social development within a supportive educational setting.
