Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for a Radiological Technologist with expertise in Cath Lab imaging and electrophysiology (EP). This role requires advanced skills in interventional radiology, particularly with the scrub and monitoring functions during device implantations and ablations. Candidates should be proficient in both interventional radiology and cardiology procedures, ready to support a Cath Lab where approximately 40% of cases involve radiology. This position offers a contract role located in Loves Park, IL, with flexible scheduling that includes 10-hour shifts and on-call responsibilities. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active ARRT certification. Strong electrophysiology (EP) experience. Proven ability to perform both scrub and monitoring roles during interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. Skilled in device and ablation monitoring. Experience in interventional radiology procedures within a Cath Lab setting. Ability to handle on-call coverage for radiology cases. Willingness to work 4 ten-hour shifts per week. Availability for 1-2 call nights weekly, including call every 3-4th weekend. Candidates should be located beyond 50 miles from the facility. Responsibilities: Perform radiological imaging and assist in interventional cardiology and radiology procedures. Scrub and monitor devices during ablations and interventional cases. Provide on-call coverage and support during off-hours for radiology cases. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
