Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide specialized services within a K-12 structured learning environment serving students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. This contract position spans multiple district locations in Illinois, with immediate start through the end of May 2025. Candidates must hold an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Endorsement as well as a current Speech License. Consideration will be given to both fully certified SLPs and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates. Locations and Caseload: Willowbrook High School, Villa Park: 2 classrooms Addison Trail High School, Addison: 1 classroom Maercker Intermediate School, Westmont: 1 classroom PrairieView Elementary School, Downers Grove: 2 classrooms SLPs will serve 3 to 4 self-contained classrooms within the Structured Learning Environment (SLE) program that provides services to roughly 6-8 students per class. Expected full-time hours range between 35-37.5 per week. Qualifications: Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Endorsement Active Illinois Speech License Experience working with students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities preferred Ability to collaborate with special education teams Strong communication and organizational skills Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech-language therapy services according to students IEP goals Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and families Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Adapt therapy strategies to meet diverse student needs within the SLE program Benefits of this role include a meaningful opportunity to impact students with specialized needs in collaborative school settings across multiple districts.
